How to Share Your Experiences on ScubaRatings

Our diver-focused ratings give divers a quick assessment of the overall value and performance of SCUBA products and services and allows underwater experiences to be shared, diver-to-diver.

Share your opinions about the places you've visited and your experiences with dive operators and hotels. Take advantage of the Dive Sites area to tell the dive community where you've been and what you've experienced... share what you've seen underwater at all the different dives you've done.

By submitting a review, you agree that ScubaRatings may publicly post your comments. You may only submit one review for each hotel, shop or divespot.

ScubaRatings reserves the right to refuse or remove any review, including those that do not comply with these Guidelines or the ScubaRatings Terms of Service and terminate your ScubaRatings account for a violation.

ScubaRatings is not responsible or liable in any way for ratings and reviews posted by its users.

Guidelines for sharing a good review

• Be objective and truthful. Tell the ScubaRatings Community how you really feel. Useful reviews include not only whether you had a good experience, but also why.
• Take advantage of the space for comments to provide the specifics and details.
• Stay Focused. If you're commenting on a hotel, keep your comments focused on the hotel. You can talk about the diveshop and the sites you saw underwater when you submit reviews for each of those.
• Write reviews in English. All reviews should be written in English.

Don't abuse the service. Reviews should not harass, abuse, or threaten another's personal safety or property, make false statements, defame, impersonate someone else, contain inappropriate subject matter, profanity, sexually explicit, illegal or otherwise objectionable content,as determined by ScubaRatings at its sole discretion.

Don't post personal information. Never assume that you are completely anonymous and cannot be identified by posts. Reviews should not include personal information, such as email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers or credit card numbers belonging to you or others.

Don't post multiple reviews or commercial ads for your own gain. Reviews should not include multiple posts by the same user or posts having spam messages, commercial advertising or links.

Don't copy or otherwise infringe other's material, trademarks or other intellectual property. Reviews should include your own, original throughts. We want to hear about your own personal experiences!

Don't uploat HTML, viruses, or other malicious code. Reviews are for text only comments. Please help to protect ScubaRatings.com for your own use and for hundreds of thousands of divers worldwide.

Don't post feedback about ScubaRatings.com in the review pages. Please send us feedback through our feedback form.

Reviews are for ScubaRatings members only. Ratings are allowed for members who have no vested interest in promoting the establishments they review. This means no owners, no managers, and no employees may rate their own shop or hotel. Establishment owners are not allowed to post reviews or promotional or advertising information in the ScubaRatings review area. ScubaRatings reserves the right to terminate hotel or diveshop information from being viewed by the diving community for a violation.

However, everyone is encouraged to share experiences at dive locations they've visited.
